Sciora's Ecstasy

To unsuspecting and unwary eyes Sciora might seem like a woman's name; perhaps the alias of a model or a heroine of some story. Sciora's ecstasy would then be the orgasm of a girl who, between her games, breaks ties imposed by regulations and proper training. Cumming is not easy when the environment forces you not to go out of line and perhaps sometimes, only through a catharsis does the liberating act of going into direct fire to the climax and convulsing with pleasure from your own or assisted touches arrive.

Sciora —Daniel Sciora, the artist— is more of a man who, in a stereotypical phallocentric role (of artist and his models) creates situations to satisfy his own desire, in which the girls pose, either alone or with toys, fulfilling his fantasies.

The question with these drawings is whether the hegemonic male gaze takes precedence over the satisfaction of the protagonists' desires and if they are subjects who exercise their way to pleasure or end up being objects in pantomime for money to meet the requirements of the phallus.

Nothing is binary and as much as the Sciora’s —the author— gaze is preponderant and all the images are vehicles of his desire, lights of self satisfaction seem to sprout in the portrayed subjects, endorsing their status as protagonists of pleasure, following their freedoms and attending their adult decisions, even from intimate corners.
